WebSep 13, 2024 · The sound card is Cirrus Logic CS4208 , and I couldn’t get Windows to recognize the mic on my headset which was designed for iPhone/Apple usage. I have an iMac (27-inch, Late 2013) that has a 4-pole TRRS headphone/headset combo port. On OS X any headset works nicely (e.g. the Apple iPhone headset with microphone). WebI also have a Bose QC35 and think the sound is okayish. I have tried the Sony WH1000XM4 and XM5, the Bose QC35 II and QC45. The Sonys audio felt very "muffled" and the Boses didn't feel like any audio improvement, and also got my ears sweaty. (feel like they only worked on improving the ANC)
